Many are spending this weekend gathering up the last bit of gifts needed for Christmas, traveling to spend the Holidays with loved ones or are already spending time with their families. Though many people are still devoting some of their time today to Facebook, you can see a drastic expected decrease of users sharing within your news feed. So, of course Facebook would be making changes right?
Privacy Settings Shortcut
It may or may not be related to the frenzy over Privacy and Terms of Service the Facebook owned photo-sharing site, Instagram went through or perhaps the easier access you have now to seeing your Privacy settings on Facebook is not a coincidence but it has been enabled and already begun rolling out to profiles. If it has on your profile you will be able to see an announcement that would be located at the top of your news feed, showing you who can see your profile. Though no changes have been made to your original settings they have added a shortcut to your Privacy settings up in the right-hand corner simply for their users to have easier access.

What is the Privacy Settings Shortcut on Facebook?
The Privacy Settings shortcut will allow you as a Facebook user to access your privacy settings faster and more conveniently in the case of any changes you want to make or perhaps to review your preferred privacy settings on Facebook. You will have quick access to the following:
Who Can See My Stuff? – This is where you can choose who you want to see your activity on Facebook.
Who Can Contact Me? – This allows you to choose who you want to have the ability to message you while you are on Facebook.
How Do I stop someone from bothering me? – You will now have easier access to enter names of people who are bothering you on Facebook by entering their name(s) and blocking them.

Facebook is also personalizing the way it encourages you to begin talking on Facebook through your profiles status update. Normally it would read, “What are you doing?” yet now Facebook has made it more personable by using your name and asking different open ended questions like “How are you Feeling, Erin”.

Drag and Drop or Upload Multiple Photos at Once on Facebook

Facebook now allows its users to drag photos in the status update area and drop the photo which will then proceed to upload the photo onto Facebook. Making adding photos easier and quicker.
Uploading Multiple Photos at Once on Facebook
No longer will you have to make an album in order to upload more than one picture at a time on Facebook, now through your status update when you choose to upload a photo it will show that you can upload more than just one.
Facebook has sure been busy for a Saturday and perhaps you have already noticed some of these changes happening to your profile, if not, at least you can expect to see some changes occurring over the Holiday Season. On the plus side, it looks like positive changes that will make using Facebook faster and accessing valuable information a lot easier. Besides updating their photo system is a good sign that they are paying attention since we most certainly have made good use of many photos this year and am sure to increase our obsession with photo sharing as we carry on into the New Year.
